Dear Friends,

My 8th day on FAVAO, 1st day of my second week was GREAT! Check out my notes!

Since this is my first day on week two I did my weight in and measurements, along with this weeks picture!

Wight Loss: 6lbs.

M1 Loss: 1 in.

M2 Loss: 2in.

8am

Got 8 hours of sleep! Still Cold and Rainy! YES!  Got ready for work, packed my meals and headed to my office.

9am

Made my “Metabolic Booster Meal”- Blueberry Graham Ice Cream

My Note: Forgot the blueberries at home, so I substituted a ½ cup of strawberries (Pg. 139 in the FAVAO program book tells you can substitute any berry for a berry ending in “ies” ex. Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, etc.)

11am

Made my “Breakfast”- Scrambled Eggs & Apple Pie

My Note:  I am substituting Eggs for a ½ cup of cottage cheese (Pg.139). The “apple pie” really does taste like apple pie! Delicious! I can’t believe I get to eat this for breakfast!

1:30pm

Ate my “Power Snack”- Yogurt Parfait

My Note: This is also DELICIOUS! I was out shopping for a Christmas tree, and remembered to bring this with me. I did forget the cereal that goes with it, so I am excited to try that with it tomorrow.

4pm

“Lunch” Time- Chicken & BBQ Baked Beans

My Note: This was good! I had no chicken made so I stopped and bought a rotisserie chicken and just ate 2oz. of breast meat off of it. I also think 2 tbs. is a lot of BBQ sauce, so tomorrow I will only use one. My broccoli was steamed to perfection!

6:00pm

“Energy Snack”- Bean & Cheese Cracker Spread

My Note: I ate the beans warmed with a little lemon and sea salt, washed that deliciousness down with water, and then ate the wheat thins with my laughing cow 35 calorie light garlic herb cheese wedge (I LOVE Cheese, so this was heavenly!!!)

6:30pm

Still having not made my chicken, I marinated 2 types for dinner this week. 1) Garlic Lemon Chicken 2) Chili, Coriander, and Lime Chicken. I let them marinate for about an hour.

7pm-8pm

Christmas is coming, and we still didn’t have a tree! We went out searching, found one, tied it to the roof of our Honda, and drove back home all while it was pouring rain and freezing out side

8pm

Arranged the chicken in baking dishes and baked for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. It came out perfectly, and cooled just in time for dinner.

9:00pm

Dinner- Fiesta Fish Dish

My Note: We don’t eat fish, so we are substituting 4oz of chicken and eating that along with the couscous. This also was delicious, and I think having both types of chicken will change it up for us nicely!

10:00pm-10:30pm

Lighting the Christmas tree! Not perfectly, but a great beginning!

10:30pm

My Note: Drank my detox tea, and filled out my daily checklist for Day 1 Week 2 on Pg. 47 in my FAVAO Program Book.

Overall it was a good day, but I still need to really make time to do my workout.  I LOVE the food this week! It is DELICIOUS! I also will be starting Bikram Yoga this week with my sister-in-law to stretch my muscles! Looking forward to tomorrow.

All My Best,

Alexa Unkefer Raynes
