My 14th day on FAVAO, last day of my second week was SUPER! Check out my notes!
8am
Got 7 hours of sleep! Sleepy, but looking forward to starting a new workweek & looking forward to Christmas this weekend! Packed my meals, yoga gear, and headed off to my office
9am
Made my “Metabolic Booster Meal”- Blueberry Graham Ice Cream
My Note: Love this morning shake! The blueberries are delicious!
11am
Made my “Breakfast”- Scrambled Eggs & Apple Pie
My Note: Full from my shake and still down a microwave, I skipped this meal.
1:30pm
Ate my “Power Snack”- Yogurt Parfait
My Note: Quickly ate this before heading to the store to do my grocery shopping for week 3!
4pm
“Lunch” Time- Chicken & BBQ Baked Beans
My Note: I am happy to be moving on to week 3. I am getting a little grossed out by the chicken and the bbq. I am weird with meat! I think I will try to substitute something else for the chicken next week.

Heading off to Bikram Yoga!

Workout = Bikram Yoga!
90 minutes of the most intense workout of my life. Love hate relationship, but always wanting to go back in the end. This also gives me time to not worry or think about anything, and just focus on myself. I highly recommend it! I bought a 30 day unlimited pass on groupon.com for $30 (Normally each class is $17) you can also check livingsocial.com for some awesome deals!

Dinner Time
Pooped out from my Bikram class, we decided to go out to dinner. We have a Pita Jungle restaurant close by, delicious healthy food! We shared a chicken del sol (Chicken, tomatoes, corn, and black beans/with whole wheat pita with cheese) and a side of broccoli. It was delicious, and healthy! We tried to keep the protein/carb/green veggie equal to what it is in the FAVAO book. It was also fun to go out for dinner J
Week 2 Grocery List- We are splitting all meals in ½ and eating the snacks whole
4 cartons Strawberries
5 bananas
Laughing cow light cheese wedges ( I am going to eat these in the lunch, so I purchased the queso ones. I also will be subbing canned chicken for the eggs)
Corn tortillas (Couldn’t find these for the life of me, so I got OLE Extreme Wellness Tomato Basil Tortilla Wraps @ 68 calories per tortilla)
Wheat thins
4lb bag of regular carrots- then I chopped then up to the size of small baby carrots
4 cartons cherry tomatoes
4 tubs cottage cheese (We are eating this instead of the eggs for breakfast, and you need it for the ranch dip)
5 cucumbers
Lg Yellow Onion
Whole grain pita pocket (Couldn’t find small, so I purchased honey whole wheat ones @ 90 calories per ½ pocket (1 serving))
14 tbs pizza sauce (I purchased a four cheese pasta sauce with 80 calories per ½ cup)
21 oz chicken (I bought canned white meat chicken)
7 slices deli turkey (I forgot this, so my husband went to Safeway and bought this at the deli counter)
14 tbs pineapple chunks (I bought 1 can chunk pineapple)
14 tbs mozzarella cheese
Low fat beef jerky (I bought Jack Link’s Jalapeno Carne Seca Beef Jerky- It is spicy and delicious)
Coconut & Vanilla extracts (I also bought a caramel one for my coffee!)
Sea salt
Garlic powder for Ranch
Ranch Dip- mine came out tasting like Hidden Valley!

Overall it was a pretty great week! Next week I am going to try harder to do Bikram Yoga, Resistance Training, as well as my Cardio. I also will try to eat healthier, or not let myself go over board for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Looking forward to starting my Week 3 and continuing my FAVAO journey!
