FAVAO Coffee and tea are just fine! Our favorite coffee mix is: Coffee, stevia, cinnamon, coconut extract, and 2 TB low fat almond milk! With tea try almond milk, any tea of choice, stevia, and a dash of cinnamon! YUM! Another FAVAO FAVORITE is 1 TB cocoa powder, 2 tsp XANGO juice, stevia, cinnamon...warm it up for 2 min and you have a fruity hot chocolate that is wonderful for wintertime! Enjoy
1:30pm
Ate my “Power Snack”- Fruit and String Cheese
My Note: Still full from breakfast! I had ½ of a green apple and had ½ a string cheese, and Derrick ate the other half. Yummy!!!
4pm
Lunch Time- Mexican Rice Bowl
My Note: Still full, so Derrick and I shared this also. Still tasty with the extra cilantro, garlic powder, and limes!
One of our Christmas family traditions is to have dinner as a family and then attend the Nutcracker Ballet at Symphony Hall in Phoenix.
5-6:30pm
Dinner Reservations at Durants
I had 3oz of filet mignon and Derrick had the other 3oz, ½ cup steamed cauliflower, 2 1in cubes of bread, and a margarita. I did skip the second margarita and my FAVORITE crème brulee trio for desert.
7-10pm
The Nutcracker! I LOVE it!
Since we ended up not getting home until 11:30pm. I once again did not do my workout. This was really disappointing to me and I have wrote it down in my next weeks goals (Pg. 46 of your FAVAO Program Book) to stick to the workout plan!
11:45pm
Make my Body Cleanse/Detox (a mug of warm water, and 1 scoop body cleanse) and off to bed I go!
Day 5 on Favao
8am
I notice that I am sleeping better each night and also waking up with more energy!
8:30am
Made my “Metabolic Booster Meal”- Banana Ice Cream
My Note: Enjoyed making this at my house for the first time! Also LOVED drinking this while singing along to “Dominik the Donkey” and dancing around to Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmas Time” while getting ready.
10am- 12:30pm
Christmas Photo Shoot- We had to get our family photos done, so I didn’t have my breakfast!
12:30pm
Lunch- At this point I was STARVING! As a family after the photo shoot we headed to Houston’s, one of our favorite restaurants, to enjoy lunch as a family. I had 3oz of chicken beast and a 1/2cup of braised red cabbage. Although I ate out I really tried hard to eat something healthy and a smaller portion than what I would have eaten 2 weeks ago.
2pm
Derrick and I arrived home and decided to take our dog,Truffles, for a walk with us. It was a BEAUTIFUL day outside, and we enjoyed walking and talking, before we knew it we had walked a mile and Truffles was tired, so we decided to turn around and head home. We did 2 miles in no time at all! It was great!
4pm
We enjoyed our Power Snack- Apple and String Cheese- We decided to eat this because we had a dinner event to attend in the evening.
6pm
Arrived at a Christmas dinner event- I ate 1 cup salad with vinagerette, 4oz. chili rubbed pork tenderloin, 2 tbs. cheddar gritz, 3 pieces of gnocchi, 1 bite of dessert, and washed it all down with 3 glasses of champagne. BIG FAIL! Even though this was delicious I really shouldn’t have had any desert or the gnocchi. I am going to try really hard to do better at the next Christmas event, which is next Saturday. I did try to even my proteins and carbs, but over did it.
Midnight- Time to go to bed, but not without my body cleanse! Especially after tonight, I need it to cleanse my system.
12:15pm
As I was reading through some emails in bed, Derrick came in and asked me if I had weighed myself, I said “No, Why?” He said “Because I just did and I’ve lost 5.5 pounds”, I quickly popped out of bed and jumped onto the scale and I was down 5 pounds! I was filled with joy and excitement! And slept great!
